Pirate Jonny and the Doc was started in early 2007 soon after my wife Christina and I moved to Grenada for her to pursue a medical degree.  We had many adventures living abroad and can view our old website here.  In Jan 2009 we returned from Grenada to conquer New York CIty as Christina completes her schooling as a medical intern at Lincoln Medical Center.  Since everyone has questions I have decided to start blogging more often.  People seem to like it and you can read my Grenada Blog at the old site.

The Doc has wanted to be a physician since she was a child and has taken a long road to get where she is today.  She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Minnesota.  She then attended Loyola University where she received a Masters of Medical Arts degree.  She currently is attending St George’s Uinversity that took us to Grenada and now NY.

The Pirate has had just as much adventure.  When asked what he would do in Grenada, pirate seemed like the best fit.  Before becoming a pirate he was a project coordinator in MN for Hooker and Co advertising.  He became a marketing director in Chicago for a real estate company.  Then in Grenada he was everything from an eye doctor to a radio personality.
